Welcome

Terra Divina

September 24, October 29, and November 26

Engage the Little Falls Watershed in sacred conversation! Terra Divina, a practice of the Wild Church Network, is similar to Lectio Divina. Through Terra Divina, we spend time with God’s non-human Creation, or the “Book of Nature,” rather than passages from the Bible. We listen to
the plants, animals, water, and wind around us.

Gather on the church patio at noon on Sunday, October 29. Together, we will cross the “threshold” of the Capital Crescent Trail to enter the watershed. Once there, we will separate to Wander (lectio), Listen (meditatio), Respond (oratio), and Release (contemplatio). Then, we
will regather at the threshold and return to the church to share our experiences. Bring your journal or sketchbook, if you like.

Please see Deacon Mary for more information.
