Making a Planned Gift to St. Dunstan's
What is the Anvil Society?
The Anvil Society, St. Dunstan's legacy society, recognizes those members of our parish who have made a documented planned gift to the St. Dunstan's Endowment Fund. Members of the Anvil Society know that they have looked beyond this life and made provision for the continuing financial support of their faith community. They have left a legacy as enduring and as productive as the anvil.
Why the anvil?
The anvil was the tool of St. Dunstan, who was a blacksmith. It is used, along with with and hammer, to shape articles of utility and beauty. Similarly, the Anvil Society provides us with the opportunity to create ministry, serving and celebrating in Christ's Name.
How do I become a member?
A person automatically becomes a member of the Anvil Society when s/he makes a provision for St. Dunstan's Endowment Fund through some form of planned gift. Planned giving through bequests and trusts, and current gifts of cash, securities, and real estate are welcomed. Please consider making St. Dunstan’s part of your estate plan. Designating St. Dunstan’s as a beneficiary of your IRA, for example, can often be done quite easily online.
