Children's Formation

The Children's Chapel is led by Jenna Monroe, Children’s Minister

A significant portion of Sunday's time is dedicated to learning the Apostles’ Creed, fostering discussions about our beliefs as Christians and Episcopalians. This foundational teaching not only enriches the children's understanding of their faith but also strengthens their connection to our church community.

To accommodate the diverse learning styles of our children, Children’s Chapel now includes a variety of activities each week. We have incorporated hands-on activities and experiments, arts and crafts, and a weekly song, ensuring that every child can engage in a way that resonates with them.

In alignment with our commitment to service, the Children's Chapel organized and executed a coat drive to support Identity, a nonprofit organization in Montgomery County dedicated to serving Latino and other historically underserved youth. Additionally, we participated in the nationwide Souper Bowl of Caring, with plans to donate the proceeds to Bethesda Help. This organization provides essential safety net services, including food assistance and limited financial aid for prescriptions, to those in need within our parish community.

The children have expressed their excitement about the creation of the St. Dunstan’s Kids Spotify Playlist. This initiative allows them to access our weekly worship songs at home, further enhancing their worship experience and connection to our church.
